FAQ
Helpful Information
Can I trial a class before committing to the whole term?
Absolutely! All students trying out for the first time are able to do so obligation free. Once you have completed your first class and are happy to continue for the whole term we will send you an invoice. If you find that the class isn't for you and do not wish to continue there are no fees to be paid. You will still need to register for the class to trial it.
What should I wear to my 1st class?
Comfortable clothes that you can move in eg. leggings/tights and a singlet top. Whatever makes you feel like dancing! No denim please as it restricts movement. We do have a uniform that will need to be purchased if you wish to continue. You can find out more about our uniform by clicking here.
Are parents allowed to watch classes?
We do not permit parents or spectators to watch classes as it can be very distracting to the students and the teachers. Pre-schoolers in particular perform much better without Mum or Dad in the room. Should they not want to detach from you, the Mums and Bubs class would be more suitable until such a time that they feel confident enough to dance without you. We do have a "parent watching week" in terms 1 and 2 where all parents and guests are welcome into the classroom.
Do you have a concert?
Yes. Our end of year concert is held in November/December.
Concert costume fees are added to all Term 3 accounts ahead of the annual concert held in Term 4. A concert costume is required for each class a student attends and students get to keep their costumes after the concert. The costume fee varies depending on age. If you would like to know more about the costs associated with our concert costumes, please contact us directly.
